Um. This is the most wonderful thing I have read in THE LONGEST OF TIMES. Everything I love about the Doctor and Rose and their ridiculous UST just tucked nice and neat into this GLORIOUS FIC like it isn't RIDICULOUSLY HARD to get such pitch perfect interactions between them. Like. Seriously. Everything about everything they said to each other, or didn't even say, just their looks, the flirt-wrestling for the arm rest and the Doctor's hesitant desire coming to the surface in bursts of confidence and adorable doubt and ROSE, oh Rose, just. If you thought I was exaggerating when I said everything up there, lol, clearly you have been proven wrong.

She’s quite sure that if they were anywhere but here, effectively sequestered together for five more hours, he’d have already bounced away, Tigger-like, attempting to distract them both with another topic or a new destination.

I've just got back from holiday on a similar overnight flight and spent some time thinking about this fic while I was on it. Had to come back and do a re-read and realised I hadn't added it to my memories yet (I have now!)
