Festivus 2009

Thor, Ricochet, & the Spirit embrace the holiday. If you think you'd receive some kind of festive token of their esteem, by all means lemme hear it.

Someone who knows about Christmas and wants anything should easily be able to guilt Mullin into giving, too.

So he already got her Disney's Pinocchio for a previous X-mas, which means the easy & obvious gift is out. Based on their last conversation, though, I think he'd get her a 2010 daily planner, as a joke, and then also give her a key to the Video-Rama with this as the keychain.

And then also also, because neither of those is really a substantive present, he'd get her a silver bracelet just because he thinks it's pretty, and she should have something suitably... decorative and pretty, y'know?

I dunno if they're anywhere near close enough, but Mitsuru and The Spirit?

Spirit would probably go for something functional and relatively reserved... I'm thinking a cashmere scarf, a solid red like that big bow she wears, to complement her hair.

I'm pretty sure he got Ahiru a necklace for a previous Christmas...? So I'm thinking he'd probably get her one of those musical jewelry boxes with the little ballerina that play tunes from The Nutcracker or Swan Lake--strictly by coincidence, as he'd not really understand the significance of the stories, just choosing by what he's heard are famous ballets.

I, however, would be shocked if Ahiru hadn't received something like that at least once in her time here, and think he should give her something else for good measure~ Maybe a tiny silver blade, only big enough and sharp enough to serve as a letter-opener and wrought in the form of Mytho's Prince Sword with the swan hilt--since swords and metalworking are things Thor understands.
