IC Christmas Presents: The Lazy Man's Approach

... my current level of fail is sufficient that I'm having trouble getting gifts for people IRL, let alone for folks in a wacky internet hijinks game. BUT. I'm certainly not averse to putting on Ye Olde Thynkyng Cappe as necessary if anyone's curious as to what they'd be getting from: Thor, Ricochet, the Spirit, & XanatosAlso note in your comment ( Read more... )

Well, even though she didn't get him a Batmobile (again), he can hardly turn down his benefactor. Her gift is one of those mystery puzzle boxes you have to solve before you can open it and get at what's hidden inside--it's labeled "#1 Suspect" and contains a picture of Negi.

... so once she comes to yell at him for that, he'll give her the real present--a cashmere scarf and earmuffs, in blue.

♥~

I imagine the picture is a startled reaction shot obtained by unexpectedly jumping out at Negi with a camera, which he would totally consider part of the gift.

... part of me wants to say that Thor would have built something vaguely Stonehenge-ish, only smaller, and then partially smashed and weathered it to look old so she could explore her very own personal set of ruins, but that's cartoonishly over-elaborate even for him.

So instead he carved her a new staff, polished and with silver inlay. Which, although also elaborate, is also within his capabilities. It's not really magical or anything, but hey--it is divinely crafted.

... see. I can envision it happening, but like only if Genis came up with the idea and told Thor what to do. Because that degree of intricacy is best left to geniuses.

SMITING

... I mean. Probably a set of daggers that he forged for her, and a little stash of gold hidden somewhere.

... so. First on the list would be a very special movie night presentation of The Thin Man, with its conveniently named canine sidekick. And then after she swatted him for making fun, he'll give her a little stuffed tiger with this around its neck.

(And we'll pretend that it's made of white gold instead of silver like in the image~)
