[registers as ... Spider-Man? Yep.] [locked to superheroic types, you know who you are]

Mar 10, 2010 01:55

Greetings, fellow heroes!

If anyone ever runs into this guy with a skull mask, a black suit, and a big red "X..."

Please, feel free to give him a punch in the head for me.

Because he's on my LIST. Now. Officially.

...

And, for the record, yeah. This is, or was, the Scarlet Spider. Wearing webs now. Long story.

red x, he'll explain this change over sometime

A-yup. In fact, already knew.

Though that DOES give me an idea of what nutty world he hails from.

Alas. I kinda liked the name "Taskmaster Jr."

I never really ran into him much. Most I know is he's a thief.

You could say that.

If you hear about a blown up safe, by the way, TOTALLY his fault.

Aw nuts...not this guy again.

One of yours I take it?

Yeah...and something tells me we won't be lucky enough that it's a friend playing pretend like the first time.

Ah-ha! More what I was looking for.

So, someone you've butted heads with, I--

A friend playing pretend?

OK yeah...uh...alright where to begin.

Alright you know Slade right? Big bad who's caused some trouble for our titans here in the digital world? One eye, always sounds like he's making fun of you?

Well our Robin decided the best way to get close to Slade would be to be a criminal so he created this fake bad guy called "Red X" and used that alter ego to steal stuff. He didn't tell any of us though and even used a weird hologram thing to make it look like Red X had beaten him.

So as Red X he totally kicked our trash until his plan didn't work. Slade figured it out waaaaaay before. We had to help him but it was a total blow to our faith in the fearless leader.

OK that's great but if it's not Robin who is it? We dunno. awhile later some dude broke into Titans Tower and stole all the Red X gear. Since then he just steals whatever he wants. He doesn't have any take over the world schemes and he doesn't seem to really care about anything more then the payoff ( ... )

...well. Damn.

Still, even if he's just your run of the mill thief with great gear, that's such a pain in the backside.

It would be a good idea to figure IF that chemical can be reproduced here, though. If it can't, good, he'll just run out of juice and we'll just have an uncommonly good thief WITHOUT the uncommonly good tools.

If it CAN... well. That'd just make it all that much more easy to find him, wouldn't it?

You know, none of MY rogues gallery has showed up yet... I wonder if I should be disappointed or pleased.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up!

I STILL say you rocked the grunge look...

I have a few, and look what THEY'VE done. Do you really want to wish that on yourself, now?

I hope you realize I came up with that design in like five minutes. This one took me days!

... Okay, I'll give you that one.

It was still a darn sight better than a lot of costumes I've seen...

I should well hope.

I don't know. You may or may not be surprised at how many times people have poked fun at that hoodie.

Huh.

Guess even the masks we wear carry a heavy weight sometimes.
