Since I'm the only drafter in the entire company who isn't propagating large clouds of infectious germs today (as far as I know), I got to make all the deliveries.  At my first delivery, I parked in front of the Cool Cat Gallery.  As long as I was there, I figured I'd check their event calender for the rest of the month.  All there was was a ( Read more... )

Of course! And I predicted it months ago. You think the city of Sacramento is going to allow demonic live music events to bring down the city?

Maybe a young, hip-hoppin new mayor is what the city needs to get a younger, hipper mindset groovin in town!

Agreed. I'm already fed up w/ how Fargo is chosing to handler herself during the election. It's time for some fresh blood, to see what can change.

I'm not that up on Sac City politics, but I did do sound for a fund raiser Fargo held at Marilyn's about a year ago. She's pretty connected with the loft developer crowd (read: the ones with big money) and I'm not sure KJ can compete with that.

That of course really sucks, because from what I see it would seem that the arts in midtown are even more subject to the whims of city hall since developer money keeps 'em in office. Second Saturday is wonderful ... once a month. You get the 'burbs types down to eat someplace and get those service tax dollars and then put the local color on display and then tuck those commie bohemians back inside the box until next month.

I'd love to see that end, but ...
