Thursday Devotional

Better late than never, right? Hey. It's still Thursday in some places. :)

So I though that I would share a testimony with you rather than a bible verse and pithy thought, as is the norm with me.

Many of you know that my wedding anniversary is tomorrow. I'll have been married to my sweet husband for 10 years.

This, friends, is a miracle.

Thank you for sharing that. I have a question though, if you don't mind answering it. It took a year and a half (did I get that right?) for God to answer your prayers... How did you keep your faith through all of that? How did you not give up and think, He isn't going to answer me?

It took a lot longer than a year and a half. *laughs*

You keep praying because you have to have faith. God is faithful and has blessed me with so much. Plus, he answerd all sorts of little prayers along the way, so I knew that he was there, and I kept hoping that he's answer by big prayers eventually.

I've been praying somethings for going on eight years, and I still haven't given up hope. God is faithful and he rewards those who honestly love him. :)

You just have to keep plowing and praying and believing, huh? How wonderful that you have two little miracles running under your feet all of the time. X)
