humm, how do I become a teacher?

 So, today, I took a leap.
    I'll get to that part in just a second.  COM'ON'NOW! Be patient.

I went to the local Pagan store to take a class on Dream Magick.  I think I'm pretty intuitive and haven't met anyone disappointed with my dream analysis yet.  But the class was given by a good friend of mine and I do what I can to support my local Pagan

I am a spiritual person-this has been an evolution for me from organized religion (raised southern baptist). I am a reiki practitioner and intuitive spiritual healer. These things considered, I would be VERY interested in coming to something like that on several levels. 1) Knowledge is always good thing and I feel that there is a lot of in brain confusion for myself between Pagans and Wiccans (and I know they are different)
2) Even though I am a spiritual healer, many churches would look at what I do as demonic or pagan and the only way I can combat that notion is to know the difference.
3) As a spiritual healer, I feel that having a broader understanding of other peoples beliefs will help in the treatment of those whose beliefs come from a different place than my own. So yeah, keep me in the loop on that one.

Thank you so very much for your reply. I really enjoyed hearing from you and reading a little more about you! I was wondering actually where you fit in or classify yourself when I read some of your journal and bio. I also have a 2nd degree Reiki, so, GO US! It's a wonderful evolution. Congrats on achieving that!

I would be very interested in hearing of your Reiki experience sometimes. Mine is very different from everything I've read. The lady that is teaching me has run it almost as an apprenticeship.(Which I love) I'm working now towards a Reiki Masters certificate and then my master teachers. She spent some time with this guy and he showed her how to build it by hand. It is one of the most awesome experiences I have had. She also has the genesis machine but the copper needs re-wrapping in it so I've never gotten to experience it before. I'm sorry to take up so much space in your journal with my ramblings but you are the first person I have had the pleasure of speaking with that knows about these things...and frankly I'm just really excited.

Don't worry about space! This is what I'm here for! To meet and talk and connect and learn about people. That excited energy is so wonderful. I suspect you'll find it with everyone you meet that shares your gifts. But I'm honored to have the privilege of being your 'first'. : )

My training was very low-key. It was someone that I trusted in the Pagan community, a good friend and mentor, not some great master. He did my attunement, and had me read the basic Reiki book by Diane Stein. Then had me do a session on him, which was very funny cause I felt kind of silly not knowing what I was supposed to be doing. But I felt massive temperature changes in several places and he was very excited that I found these injuries that he was dealing with. I got my second degree but am looking for a Master to teach me the last degree.
