Today I took a road I've taken many a time before, But this time it was longer. I guess the Irish were right, two people do shorten the road. I remember winding through the same streets for nearly an hour thinking 10 minutes has only gone by, but this time I took 10 minutes and thought I had killed an hour. No one to keep me company but the radio

we had a brief encounter, you and i, and i loved it. i know now that it meant nothing to you (just like i mean nothing to you), but i can't help but think that it's only because i let you believe it held no importance to me... my foolish mistake i guess.
