i know, it's pretty weird-especially coming from the same town. and we are pretty much opposite, but i think it's like we started out from the same place, have crossed similar paths, but are going different directions.

Haha I've always felt the same kind of half respect half misunderstanding of him. I always get the just from when he talks that he's on top of his game but what he says never completely make it home. It's funny that there are parallels between him and you.

his writing is really amazing. he's not just a mindless shock-rocker like some people think he is, though even i get that impression sometimes from his lyrics-it's more like he's using his own terminology and symbols, and you have to get used to it before you really start to understand things.
