I don't know. Work is trying to swallow me whole. I kind of dread going back tomorrow only because I know there is So Much For Me To Do there. This week is going to be nuts. I'm drinking wine and watching the Oscars too.

What date are you coming up here, exactly? If you don't have time, it's okay, but maybe we could get together for a drink? Who knows, depending on what day it is, I might be in the midst of moving. I looked at an apartment today that I liked ... will post about it soon.

I'm flying up there Monday, April 3rd, but I don't get in until 10pm. And then I'm leaving in the evening on Wednesday. So, not a lot of time, but I would love to see you if I could. I have to talk to my cousin about transportation. They live down in Oregon City, so I doubt that I can use public transportation to get up to the Oregon Convention Center, which I think is near downtown. My cousin works downtown so I might be able to carpool with her. I'll know my schedule better when I talk to my cousin about all this. I'll let you know.

The kitchen is the main thing I like about my place. And the new place has a tiny kitchen, which is why I ultimately decided against taking it. Still looking ...

Sounds like you're under too much stress to enjoy the things you used to like so much. Like shopping. Or maybe you're NESTING! All that lovely cooking and all.

I think you got your husband a bit drunk! He "sounded" all sloppy about how much he lo-o-o-oves you for making mojitos. Good girl! :)

mmmm mojitos! I watched some of the Oscars but fell asleep. I just hadn't watched enough of the movies to feel any personal stake in the proceedings but I like Jon Stewart so I watched the first hour or so of it.
