guess ive been kind of busy working to post here. not really, ive just been spending time on myspace instead.
i applied to orange county and have pass the written and video tests so far. next up is the cpat test. which i have done twice already for gainesville and southwest florida. so it shouldnt be too bad, but i need to start running and working out again. i feel out of shape.
ive been living with sasha since i moved out of my old apartment. its not too bad here. we both work a lot, so its not too bad living in basically one room. in august we get to move into sashas new place. one bedroom apartment, which will be kind of nice. we will have the run of the place with noone to share anything with haha.
my grandpa had a problem with his toe, he delayed seeking medical attention, so he had to get the toe amputated. however, the problem had already moved passed the toe, so they amputated his leg from the just below the knee. he is ddoing ok, little drugged up and worried. he has never really be debilitated like this before, so its a strange new experience for him.
my step mom has cancer all over her body and she was in the hospital for a while, i believe she is at home now, but needs a nurse to help out. she is going through chemo to see if it helps, if not, shell stop doing it. without chemo she only has 3 to 6 months to live. with chemo it wquld be about a year and a half. my dad is taking all rather well considering the circumstances.
the job at ward's is good, not the most exciting work, but its not hard and i get paid. minimum wage is crap, but its something. im kind of looking for another job that might pay more. i am also looking to attend santa fe or apply for the fire science degree at uf. i need to take my evoc class so i can drive a fire truck, along with that i need to take the class d license test sometime. doesnt seem hard just need to read a couple pages and take the test at the dmv.
sasha and i are doing great. in august it will be 2 years. i cant believe that. seems like i just met her at the rugby party. i couldnt have asked for better two years of my life. i love you and do not regret a thing. we will see where the roads will take us. not sure what to do for her birthday, still trying to figure that out. shes sleeping as we speak, she had a rough day lounging around on her day off. haha. we are dog sitting megans mans(alex) dog, keiley, i dont think sasha is going to give her back. she is the sweetest, coolest dog since bailey.
saw english beat on friday in st. pete. it wasnt that great. we got there a little late and bought some tickets from some guy, cheaper than door price. cohorts went on first, but we only had a chance to hear a couple songs. which is a shame because they were the highlight of that show. english beat played next and it was...interesting. dave sounded ok, but he faked playing guitar sometimes and their were no horns. the crowd was older which i expected some. the average age was like 35 or 40 haha. the last band dramarama, hahahahahahahahaha, yeah we left in the middle of the first song. we saw justin, and he told us that rocksteady@8 was playing in tampa. so we followed him to yeoman's pub. this show was a lot better than the english beat. the cohorts could have played here with rocksteady and it would have been worth the trip. people dancing, beer, reggae, ska, my girl, what more could you ask for. we talked to some people that have seen us around in tampa and gainesville. so now we got some peeps down south. haha
