This was a wonderful wrap up to this fun, entertaining story. The relationship is going well, and Spike has been accepted into the inner circle. Things have been so much smoother for Buffy with Spike by her side, though I like that he misses some of her fire. It was a big part of their relationship through the years.

You created a clever, non-violent way to get rid of The Initiative. Whipping up the student population outed the secret lab, and even though they weren't experimenting on animals, they'd have a difficult time explaining what really was going on below Lowell House.

Dawn's arrival was perfectly timed to pull Spike out of his mild brood. Who knows what's going to happen in the future. Spike's changed the timeline so much, he won't even have to meet up with that soul giving demon again, so, hopefully, another rewind won't happen.

This cracked me up: He’d debated about whether to warn Giles about that, but it had been so much fun to save Giles the first time and have him be indebted to him that he just couldn’t

Spike had a good idea about neutralizing the Initiative by using public opinion and there was a sweet Spike-Dawn meeting [reunion].

The future wasn't set; he might be thrown back again but for now, he would do his best to love and protect Buffy and hers.

A lovely hope-filled outlook.

I can't believe the story is done! This was such a joy to read. The future isn't set, but it sure looks hopeful for them. Dawn was a welcome surprise. I hope I get to read more stories in the future from Both of you.

Love how you pulled all the bits and pieces together to find a very happy ending without fixing everything. Spike and Dawn have a special place in my heart so this was wonderful. Not surprised that Spike found a bit of fun with Giles turning into a Fyarl demon. Demon's got to find a bit of fun somewhere and not be noble all the time. LOL.
