Just tell your mom to come up here instead if she's going to make a big deal out of it. That's what I told mine. Not sure if she's actually going to since I'm not sure how much time off work she can get, but telling her that and saying that I'm being an "extra dedicated student" at least got her to shut up so I won't have to hear more bitching.

Well if we're having family visit for the festival she'll come up anyway. Probably 'Nee-san too. They'll bring food too.

My whole household is coming up here for the festival, but since my mother was complaining, thinking I would be coming home for a while first, I just told her to come up here early so we won't necessarily have to lose that time. She might just send up my sisters and brother ahead of time, since we've got room in the girls' dorm and I don't mind sharing space with my kid brother. ...Plus, yeah, they'll bring food with them. Real food. Not the shit we keep eating here.

You heard the stupid psychology teacher. It probably won't even feel like real classes. So I'm gonna take a chance and believe him in hopes that all the teachers are too tired to really care much about wanting to teach us and have something more interesting than lectures and tests in mind. If that isn't the case...well, then I'll probably just bombard the psychology teacher with water balloons or something for lying to us.

Technically these aren't "extra" classes. They're the classes we would have had if everyone hadn't gotten sick. I know you were sleeping, but classes were cancelled until the epidemic broke. ^_^
