Okay, I have a question.

Transformers is a multi-universe fandom and, while Sunstreaker and Sideswipe are typically G1 characters, they have made appearances in other Transformers universe, most recently being Sideswipe has a mention as being in the upcoming sequel to last year's live action movie.

Is it okay by this community to jump universes from G1 (the original series) to IDW (G1 rewrite) or Bayverse (last year and next year's movies) so long as there is canon evidence the character(s) exist in those universes?
