Diets

I don't know if this question is allowed or not, but I'm going to try:

Anyone been on a diet, and been successful with losing weight? I'm looking to lose weight but also maintain more healthy eating habits. I'm a freshman in college, living in the dorms, if that helps.

Thank you!

Calories in versus calories out, babe. It's that simple. What the low carb/low fat/banana nut muffin and string cheese diet/whatever really all comes down to is burning more calories than you take in. Do this, and you will lose weight, regardless of what you eat. Of course, being HEALTHY and losing weight are two different animals, so it's advisable to cut down on fatty/processed foods for other reasons as well ( ... )

I'm currently doing Weight Watchers (on my own, not through meetings), and I've lost 19 pounds so far (in about three months). I find it very healthy. If you're interested in learning more about it, you can check out ww_users.

Hey, I'm in the aussie equiv of college and after putting on 7 kg in my first few months, I've lost 7 healthily! No fad-diets, just pure nutrition and exercise.
Read the first review and use www.calorie-count.com to help. Its awsome. Dont dip under 1200 cals a day average, and exercise and you'll be great! Really nice community too! You can learn food substitution awseom recipies, how to eat in dorms and cafeteria's. I do and I love it!
