Sam was snoozing on the couch, stuffed from the banana cream pie that he’d made during the day. He’d eaten too much, trying to keep up with Dean.
With the rumbling of the Impala still in his ears, Dean slipped in the front door. Sam’s loud snores from the couch alerted him to his location. He gave a impish smile as he took off his coat and tip-toed into the living room. Instead of saying anything, he slipped his cold hands under Sam’s shirt.
“Shit!” Sam almost launched himself off the sofa. “Dean! Get off me!”
Laughter rang in Sam’s ears.
“C’mon, Sammy. It’s freezing out there. I could have made you go get supplies. The least you can do is warm me up.’
Sam frowned. He turned on his side, making room for Dean. “Grab that blanket.”
The two of them cuddled on the couch, knowing that they were in everything together--even awful weather.
