Summary : To Naruto it was a simple way of saying things, and it was different. Which is what he liked, after all Sasuke and the rest of the popular guys wouldn't give girl flowers with thoughts for no reason.

Naruto grunted as he was hefted onto the hospital bed, truly his wounds were all ready healing, but Tsunade would hear none of it. Blood had been pouring out of his side for a while staining his orange and black jumpsuit sunset red. His blond hair was soaked with sweat, and his blue-eyes glared in defiance as he was prodded by Shizune. Shizune, whom had taken over Tsunade’s duties as a medic-nin when she agreed to become Hokage. "Well, it’s not too bad Naruto." Shizune informed him. Personally, he could have told her that several times over, but there was no arguing with Tsunade though he did try. "Since it’s not to bad, I’ll let my apprentice doctor you up." She stated cheerfully and then walked to the hospital room door. For a minute the was chatter and then a nod, Shizune was being followed by another pair of feet.
Naruto couldn’t distinguish who the apprentice was behind Shizune because they stayed behind her until the last possible moment. When he caught the short raven strands with violent hints he smiled widely. "Hinata, hi!" He chirped while waving at the shy girl. He noticed the tinge of red on her cheeks, and again he wondered at her disposition, but still he watched her. Her pale lavender eyes were focused on her task as she observed his wound. Beautiful green chakra escape her pale fingers and wrapped around the wound sealing it finally.
"How did you get that wound?" Shizune asked though Hinata had been wondering the same thing.
"Ero-sannin manage to trick Tsunade into hitting me out the window where he waited to slam me again for stopping his research earlier." Naruto started. "However, when he caught me the tailspin he manage to send me careening toward a tree branch before I could regain my bearings." He answered. Shizune blew a strand of angry air through her nose before nodding and walking out to talk to her teacher about her teammate.
"Take care of him Hinata." Shizune called as she left.
"Yes." Hinata called softly back before turning her attention back to her crush.
"Hinata, since you healed me, want to get out of here?" Naruto jibbed as he bounced out of bed.
"Umm.." She prosed as she tapped her fingers together.
"Don’t worry Tsunade-baba won’t mind." He soothed before grabbing her hands and jumping out the open window. Using his large reservoir chakra he managed to expend enough chakra to support them both as they skated off the roof and land on the ground.
Then he just continued to lead her around, his hand still locked around one of Hinata’s. Since her first word she hadn’t objected, instead she was much to focused on Naruto and his hand. Hinata gazed up when he stopped, and noticed his eyes paused on Ichiraku Ramen Bar. She smiled at his predictability, before tugging lightly on his hand to gain his attention.
"Naruto, do you want lunch?" She asked quietly while pointing to the restaurant.
"Really?" Naruto asked while tugging insistently toward Ichiraku. Hinata nodded and followed the sunny boy into the ramen restaurant though she did mourn the loss of his hand. Together they had lunch, Hinata had treated Naruto and then looked toward him in direction when he was done.
"Hey, Hinata, do you want me to walk you back to the hospital?" Naruto asked when he was done. Hinata nodded, though she hated to, because that meant that her time with Naruto was over. So, silently they walked back, but before Naruto completely dropped her off at the hospital he held up a finger and ran off. Hinata blinked and waited at his instruction, a blur of orange was back before she had time to contemplate what he had done.
She was amazed when he offered several daisies toward her before walking her to the hospital door. "Thank you for your gentleness Hinata-chan." Naruto stated before walking off.
"You’re welcome Naruto-kun." She responded to the empty air. Hinata entered the building while fingering the white petals of the precious daisies. She would make sure to press these as well, in fact she would make sure to put it next to the peony Naruto had given her before. Giggling slightly she nosed the yellow centers of the flowers while sighing. "Naruto likes my gentleness!" She screamed happily to the empty hallway, well almost empty hallway.
"Aw, my little apprentice has a crush." Shizune chided when she appeared around the corner.
"Ahh." Hinata mumbled when Shizune approached.
"It’s all right, better put those in water." Shizune instructed and smiled as Hinata ran off with a blush.
