"Platonic Love is like getting laid. Without getting laid."
That was the only way Joey could describe it. It was how he would describe his relationship with Tèa. The only way he could describe his relationship with Tèa. He had talked with Tristan and Yugi before starting his essay and Tristan had commented that he was using his friendship with Tèa as an example while Yugi was going to use Mai.
He wasn’t sure what Tèa was going to write- he hadn’t asked her. He knew many people had asked him whether Tèa was going out with Tristan, Yugi or even himself. For Tristan and himself he couldn’t see why they would ask that. He saw Tèa as a sister. Nothing more, nothing less. He was just another sister to her. Except it was more than an normal brother/sister relationship because he didn’t feel quite the same as he did around his actual sister Serenity. There was something more there.
So that was why he had decided that the relationship between himself and Tèa was purely Platonic.
