Two fifteen year olds sat on a dock, the sunset painting their features with hues of orange, red, and a slight hint of indigo. One of them had long, ferocious red hair, which was long enough for the girl to sit on. The other had short spikes, normally brown but black in the fading sunlight.
"I've been having these weird thoughts lately, Ariel." The boy identified as Sora looked at her nervously. Said girl cocked her head, letting out a sigh. He continued on, shaking slightly. "It's like vivid dreams about our destinies. I don't want to have these thoughts anymore."
The silence overcame them and she sighed again. She leaned on him, the breeze whipping her bright hair forward and the smell of the sea invaded her senses. "Don't think." Ariel breathed gently into his shoulder and warm tears soaked his shirt.
Ariel let out a gasp as she was thrown from Sora, a black animal appearing in front of her. "Sora!" She screamed out as the darkness covered her legs. Sora reached out for her hand and they clasped together, both shouting desperately for each other.
"I love you," Ariel whispered into the darkness, wondering if this would have been avoided if she wasn't Sora's personal psychatrist. If these chain of events wouldn't had happen.
If she hadn't fallen for him in the first place.
