Disclaimer: Teen Titans is ® DC Comics. No disrespect intended.
Author’s Note: These are taking place when the titans are, well, titans… Meaning that (for example) Raven will be Raven instead of Rachel Roth. Unless otherwise mentioned.
These aren’t going to form a story, but they won’t be drabbles, either. Just free-standing.
This has been written for a few days now, but I didn’t get a chance to post it yet because of school. Thanks again to KissesMods for being understanding about the school problems.

What’s wrong? Afraid of the dark?
Those words would haunt Raven for the rest of her life. On one hand, it was nice to have a villain willing to surrender the moment he laid eyes on her. On the other hand, every time she faced him again, his immediate reaction-the stark fear, not of defeat but the loathing and hatred she knew accompanied his memories of his forced entry into Azarath, caused her more guilt than ever. She was rarely out of control, but when she did go over the top it was more severe than the others.
“…what’s wrong? You’ve got that look again.” Robin took a seat on the couch next to her.
Raven blinked once, breaking off of the trail of thought and turning her head toward him. Her deep amethyst eyes landed on his masked ones and she blinked silently. “Come again?”
Robin tilted his head curiously. “You were just staring off into space. Are you alright?”
Raven looked down at the book in her lap and closed it before setting it aside. “I was reading…”
Robin smiled and held out a cup of tea to her. “And then thinking?”
Raven sighed. “I… I was thinking about Dr. Light,” she confessed, taking the tea and leaning against the martial artist as he moved closer and wrapped an arm loosely around her.
“Raven, that was long ago,” Robin said gently, stroking the front part of her hair behind her hear. “Cyborg, Beast Boy, and you fixed the part of you that got loose in your mind.”
“I know,” Raven said quietly. “But every time I go to turn on the lights, or plug in an appliance, anything run off of electricity…”
“You don’t have to keep worrying about it.”
“But Robin, every time he sees me… I damaged him beyond fixing.”
“Raven,” Robin said quietly. “Dr. Light is a criminal. He has to live with his consequences.”
“But… why is it my job to give him consequences? We just capture them. The state punishes them.”
“Raven,” Robin began, “why is it that you’re feeling guilty?”
“Well…” Raven sighed. “I don’t know. I just… wonder, sometimes, if it was right.”
“If you hadn’t done it, he would have gotten away with the bank robbery. It’s not a bad thing that you stopped him. The problem is gone now,” Robin replied. “Don’t dwell on it. You couldn’t have prevented it, and he’s not suffering. He’s still breaking out of jail and performing crime as usual.”
Raven allowed herself to smile slightly. “I guess you’re right.”
Robin gently brushed his thumb across her cheek. “So, what is your book about?”
“An electrician,” Raven replied before tilting her head closer to Robin’s and kissing him gently.
