019. Please forget about me... Frank was antsy, so antsy that it had him pacing back and forth in front of the bay windows that faced his driveway. Two months was too fucking long to be away from his lover. Next time, he told himself, he was going with the other man. Two months was just too fucking long.
And so Frank paced in front of the windows waiting for the cab to pull up in front of the house. He had wanted to meet his lover at the airport, but the other man had insisted that he wait at home. He had a surprise for Frank, but the waiting was total agony.
Frank also kept checking his watch every few seconds and each time he saw that only five, or ten, or two, seconds had passed his stomach would curl and his heart would hurt to see so little time had gone when it felt like hours. When his wait had begun nearly six hours ago, he hadn’t been checking his watch. He had done anything, and everything, he could to pass the time. He’d watched movies, played video games, played on his guitar, he’d even cooked a fancy dinner, but none of it had worked.
After sliding the homemade, totally vegetarian, spinach lasagna into the oven, Frank had finally given up on any hope of being distracted and so, he had begun pacing. The only thing he needed right now was a cigarette to calm him, but that just wasn’t going to happen, and so Frank snacked. He ate tangerines, chips, gummy bears, and anything else he could put his fingers on. At the moment it was a bag of M&M’s that Frank was quickly working his way through.
Suddenly two arms snaked around Frank’s waist and a voice whispered in his ear, “Happy anniversary baby.”
Frank shrieked and flung the M&M’s everywhere as he spun around and smacked his lover upside the head, “Don’t do that to me!” He squealed, smacking several other places on the other’s body.
The other man laughed uproariously and just pulled Frank in closer. He wrapped his strong arms tight around the other’s waist and pulled him in close, then dropped a sloppy kiss to the neck before him. “God, I’ve missed you Frankie,” he whispered softy.
Frank let himself relax into his lover’s arms with a sigh of contentment. “God I’ve missed you too Lance.”
Lance grinned and pressed another soft, yet not as sloppy, kiss to Frank’s neck and nuzzled his nose there to inhale the cologne that had been dabbed there hours before. “How have you been? God how I’ve missed you.”
Frank sighed softly and jumped up to wrap his legs around Lance’s waist to get closer to the man he hadn’t seen, nor spoken to, for the last two months. “I’ve been sick,” Frank muttered honestly as he pulled back to look into Lance’s eyes.
Lance instantly went into worried mode. “What do you mean? You can’t have been sick the last two months! Can you?” Frank nodded solemnly, “Are you okay? Have you gone to the doctor?” Frank simply nodded again, “What did she say?” Frank’s lips slowly curled into a smile, “What?”
“I’ll tell you later,” Frank growled before leaning down and nipping at Lance’s neck. Lance shivered and growled low in his throat.
“Don’t do that!” Lance admonished making Frank giggle and do it again. Lance groaned and shifted Frank’s weight a bit then started towards the stairs.
“No. Wait. Kitchen. Food. Oven,” Frank muttered pointing to the room in question.
“I took it out,” Lance said starting up the stairs.
“It’ll get cold and I worked hard on that!” Frank whined.
“It’ll be just as good cold and we can put it in the oven later.” Lance was not about to be distracted from his planned destination, he’d waited to fucking long for this.
Frank just sighed and gave in, resting himself against Lance and kissing a slow path up his neck and to his ear. He didn’t linger there long; he had better places in mind. He quickly made a path to Lance’s lips, leaving wet, open mouthed kisses all along his jaw before planting a long kiss to Lance’s succulent lips. “Missed you,” Frank grunted as he felt his back collide with a wall and Lance’s body press hard against his.
“Missed you too,” Lance panted. He had a quick mental fight with himself, half of his body kept telling him to just take Frank right there, it’s not like Frank would mind it, but the other half of his body, the one that wanted this day to be special for Frank told him to rip his lips away from Frank’s and continue on up to their bedroom. Then a thought accrued to him, “Frankie, you know what today is?” Lance just hardly managed to gasp out, because Frank didn’t seem to want to let his lips go.
“Day you get home?” Frank grunted, his words only decipherable by the one set of ears that had become accustomed to the garbled, kiss interrupted, words.
Lance laughed and finally managed to get his lips back, “No, besides that.” Lance shifted Frank again and continued on up the stairs while Frank tried to satisfy himself with marking Lance’s neck.
“No. Uh… my last day of celibacy like… ever?”
Lance laughed again and shook his head just as he kicked the bedroom door open, “No, but sort of.”
Frank growled and bit roughly into Lance’s neck, “Stop with the guessing games. Seriously. Can’t think. All blood in pants.”
Lance laughed, yet again, this time while gently laying Frank out on their bed. “Today’s the tenth anniversary of the first time we made love.”
Frank looked into Lance’s bright green eyes and grinned, “Seriously?”
Lance nodded and matched Frank’s grin, “Do you remember that day?”
“Do I remember? Like how could I ever forget?” Frank asked, his eyes sliding out of focus as he began to remember it…
Frank swallowed and stared up at Lance, “You-you’ll be careful?” He asked nervously and Lance nodded solemnly. “Like, you swear it? Like real careful? And slow and stop if I need you and… and… gentle? And you promise?”
“Yeah Frankie I promise.” Lance could see all the fear that was swirling in his boyfriend’s eyes and to be honest he was pretty scared himself. Sure he’d read all he possibly could about doing it and making it as painless as possible, but still, reading and doing are two totally different things.
“Yo-you swear?” Frank half whimpered half questioned, his fingers digging slightly into Lance’s upper arms. “I-it won’t hurt? You’ll go slow? No pain?”
Lance shook his head no,“ I can’t…” he stopped and swallowed hard, his Adam’s apple bobbing noticeably the way it only did when he was so nervous. “I can’t promise it won’t hurt, bu-but I’ll make it hurt as little as I can.”
“O-oh oh, the-then maybe we should do… do the… the other place fi-first. Ri-ight? Not hurt as… as bad? Right? Cuz… you know…. Pain. Lance, the pain. I… and then…”
Lance lowered his lips to drop gentle, calming kisses to different parts of Frank’s body. His jaw, chin, shoulder, neck, chest and finally lips. “Baby we don’t have to,” he whispered with his lips against Frank’s cheek. “If you aren’t ready. You know I’m not going anywhere.”
“B-but you are,” Frank choked out. “You are, you’re going away for… for… with them and what if you forget me or find someone who will give it to you or? I don’t want that. I love you! I can’t… don’t want to…” Frank’s eyes were welling up and Lance realized how important doing this was to him and yet…
“Baby, just because I’m going away on tour for a few months doesn’t mean I’m going to forget you. I could never forget you, I love you too fucking much and doing this. Giving me your virginity, it’s big, its way, way big; I don’t want you doing it just because you’re afraid if you don’t I’m going to leave you. I’m not going anywhere.” Lance lowered his face and nuzzled his nose against Frank’s jaw and neck. “I’ve never done it either and I’m not going to do it with some random teenie that’s begging me to. You know you’re the only person who’s ever done anything for me.” Lance looked straight into Frank’s eyes again, “You know it.”
Frank swallowed again and finally voiced every single fear that had been weighing on his mind, “Yeah, but what if it’s just because before me you weren’t ready, but now you are and it’ll be normal like it’s supposed to be?”
Lance shook his head no, “We’ve tested that remember? It’s just you.”
“Yeah, but, okay what if it’s not me, it’s what I am, it’s… what if it’s just…” Frank’s eyes darted around frantically as if he was about to utter the filthiest word known to man, “hermaphrodites? Huh? And you find another one and they just open their legs and it all works and you totally forget me?”
Lance moved his hands so each palm rested firmly on Frank’s cheeks and he stared straight into Frank’s soul, “It is not because you are a hermaphrodite Frank Anthony Iero. It is because I love you and you are simply the only person that I am ever meant to be with. Even if I do meet another one out there and they lay down and spread their legs do you honestly think I’d take the offer? Ever?”
“No,” Frank whispered, his voice low and ashamed.
“No is right. I could have every hermaphrodite from here to China lay down and spread their legs for me and I won’t even look at them. I wouldn’t even give them the time of day. You know that’s one of the things that attracted me to you in the first place. How uneager you were to just hop into bed with me. God Frankie it took me two months to finally kiss you!” Frank giggled girlishly and blushed a deep crimson. Lance finally moved his hands away from Frank’s face and down his body. One hand rested right next to Frank’s right breast and his fingers caressed the side of it. “If I had wanted someone easy I would have given up on you ages ago, but here we are, two years later and I still only have eyes for you. I love you. I love you so much sometimes it hurts and I’m not doing this unless you’re totally sure you’re ready.”
Frank sighed softly and nuzzled his face into the one hand that Lance had put back near his cheek to caress it with his hand. “I love you too,” he whispered quietly.
Lance smiled and lowered his face so he could rub his nose against Frank’s, “Do you want to stop?” Lance made sure to not only still the movements of his fingers against Frank’s small breast, but to remove his hand entirely away from that area. He settled with sliding it under Frank’s body and resting it firmly against Frank’s lower back.
Frank chewed on his options for a moment. He shook his head quickly and slid his arms up to wrap gently around Lance’s neck, “No.” Frank wrapped his legs around Lance’s waist and shifted a bit. “I’ve been looking forward to tonight for so long and I don’t want to stop.” Lance opened his mouth, but Frank quickly cut him off, “I’m sure.”
Lance smiled and shifted around again and wrapped his long fingers around Frank’s small waist. “Okay, where first?” Lance swallowed a little and shivered when he suddenly felt the tip of his cock brush, unintentionally, across Frank’s dripping opening. Frank shivered too, and groaned.
“There,” he panted, his breath suddenly completely gone.
“O-okay, then I ha-have to get a c-condom.” Lance so totally did not want to move and almost cried in gratitude when Frank slid his hand under his pillow and pulled out a sliver packet. “God you think of everything don’t you?”
Frank giggled and nodded while he worked the package open as if it was the most precious thing in the world. “Ah-ha!” He said triumphantly when he got the circle of latex out and held it up with a wide grin of pride. “Can I?”
Lance nodded and swallowed thickly again, “Just… just don’t tease me okay? I can’t take it.”
Frank nodded and tossed the silver packet aside, “I promise,” he muttered before lowering his hands under the sheets to feel around blindly. His hand, the one without the condom, wrapped around Lance’s thick cock and slid up to find the head. His other hand came down to meet his first and he held the condom over Lance’s tip.
Almost in unison Frank and Lance each took deep breaths to prepare themselves for this step. Lance because he knew there was no way Frank wasn’t going to touch him, and Frank because this was sort of the sealer of everything, once the condom was down there was no turning back in Frank’s mind.
Then Frank did it, he unwrapped the condom down Lance’s length as quickly as he could, trying to touch nothing but the outside so he didn’t wipe the lube off and so he touched Lance as little as possible. He still felt Lance shudder in pleasure. Once that part was done, and Frank had pulled at the tip a little like the packet had said, he brought his hands back up to rest on Lance’s shoulders.
“Light off?” Lance asked softly and was shocked to see Frank shake his head no.
“I want you to see me this time. Like you want.” Frank smiled and Lance returned it before moving his hips a little closer to Frank’s heat.
“Okay, then just let me know.” Lance was shaking already. His entire body was shaking, which shocked him in all honesty, he never thought he’d be this scared to do this with Frankie, but then he sort of remembered that this wasn’t just Frank’s first time, it was his too.
“I’m ready,” Frank murmured after he had unwrapped his legs so that he could spread himself open a little more.
“Okay,” Lance whispered and once again both men took deep breathes before Lance nudged himself into Frank for the very first time...
Frank laid curled comfortably against Lance’s side… No, wait, scratch that, he laid spread out across Lance’s entire body, totally spent in the best of ways, his nose buried deep in Lance’s neck and a small smile of satisfaction spread across his lips. Lance had his own smile on his lips and he turned to press a soft kiss to Frank’s temple, “How long have you been holding that in?” Lance asked softly.
“Two months. Two long, torturous, lonely, horrible months that I will never suffer through again,” Frank grunted grumpily.
Lance chuckled sleepily, “I should go away more often than.”
“Oh hell no you should not!” Frank screeched, actually finding the energy somewhere within himself to push himself up to look Lance dead on in the face, “I will fucking castrate you if you ever leave me alone like that again!”
Lance let out a full on belly laugh and stroked a hand down Frank’s clammy back, “Calm down baby, I was just kidding. I promise!”
“You better have been,” Frank grunted as he plopped back down on Lance’s chest and closed his eyes.
“Oh, so, I think I know why you’ve been sick for the last two months,” Lance murmured, breaking the silence that had fallen over the two lovers.
“Hm?” Frank asked quietly.
Lance lifted his head to whisper into Frank’s ear, “It’s because you’re…”
