Summery: It’s Ryuichi’s birthday. What could Tohma do but give him what he asked? [TohmaRyuichi]
“Just keep going this way, Tohma! It’s really close! Just ask Kumagoro!”
Tohma smiled amiably at the singer currently sitting in his passenger seat. The one who had just turned thirty-one. Although, given the way the man acted, who would believe it?
“Where is it that we’re going exactly, Ryuichi?” He asked, looking back at the road.
Ryuichi grinned. “I told you it’s a secret! You’ll just have to see when we get there.” He leaned forward in his seat and pointed. “Turn off here.”
Tohma did as he was told, turning off the road and down a path. They entered a forest and kept driving until Ryuichi suddenly shouted, “STOP!” and Tohma stopped.
The brunette opened his car door and hopped out of the car. “Hurry up, Tohma! This way, this way!”
Tohma turned off the engine and chuckled, getting out of the car. Ryuichi was already standing at the top of a small hill, waving Kumagoro at him impatiently. Tohma quickened his pace and joined Ryuichi at the top of the hill.
A small gasp tore from his throat. Before him was a beautiful waterfall, emptying into a wide lake that reflected the blue of the sky. The lake was surrounded by grass and flowers - a beautiful place for a picnic.
He looked at Ryuichi in surprise. “How long have you know about this place, Ryuichi?”
“It’s a secret.” The man replied, beaming. “Kumagoro hid a picnic basket in the trunk. Go get it and let’s eat!”
Tohma paused. “This is what you wanted for your birthday? A picnic?”
“No, silly.” Ryuichi responded, holding up his little pink rabbit and speaking in the slightly high voice that signified he was talking through Kumagoro. “Ryuichi wanted to have a picnic with Tohma!”
“Did he now.” Tohma murmured, smiling. “Well, who am I to say no?”
