Shuichi drew in a deep breath as he turned his key in the door, trying to be quieter than a mouse. Eiri would be asleep at the late hour and he didn't want to wake the novelist. Granted, there was always the chance Eiri was pulling another allnighter to meet a deadline but, in Shuichi's experience, it was better to be safe than sorry.
As he crept in, Shuichi let out a soft sigh. It had happened again, another encounter with Tohma Seguchi. He swore that he wouldn't be weak and give in to the older man's attentions, but he'd been wrong. Tohma knew exactly what to say and where to touch to get Shuichi compliant with what he wanted. The time had been a week long stay in Los Angeles to . . . discuss Bad Luck's future, as Tohma had put it. In reality, it was a a chance for the older man to escape.
He needed someone to lavish attention on, Shuichi had discovered, and the vocalist had somehow become that individual. If only Tohma wasn't so passionate about things once the doors had closed . . .

"The moon is rather beautiful tonight . . . Wouldn't you agree, Shuichi?"
"Mmmhmm . . ."
Tohma smiled a little as the younger man simply nodded and kept his gaze on the sky. Above them hung the moon, round and full and bright. In front of them, waves lapped gently against the shore. It was the perfect setting, in Tohma's mind.
He really should not have brought Bad Luck's vocalist to this particular location. The singer was Eiri's partner, not his, but he'd been unable to refrain from chasing after Shuichi, thanks to Ryuichi and his challenge . . .
Of its own accord, Tohma's left hand reached over and started to caress Shuichi's back. A contented sigh escaped the vocalist as he leaned against Tohma. The blonde's smile grew a little broader.
He had no regrets about continuing things with Shuichi. The younger man's passion for life kept Tohma coming back for more.
