Even after they had reached the point where they had to stop seeing each other or risk losing those dearest to them, Tohma could not refrain from pursuing his former rival, Shuichi Shindou. The blond-haired man was starved for affection and passion, both of which he knew he would never receive from his wife ever again.
There had been a time, though, when there had been a great fire of love existing between he and Mika, and Tohma would have done anything for her. He had courted her, wooed her, and won her. They had made vows, vows they were now duty-bound to keep. Times had changed for them. What had caused his relationship with Mika to fall apart and to end everything but on paper only, Tohma did not know. He only had theories, but he would find out soon enough.
In the meantime, he would enjoy the stolen moments with Bad Luck's vocalist, and the velvet kisses he knew Shuichi was more than capable of giving. He wanted the singer, after all, and Tohma would have the one he desired the most, no matter the cost.
As he walked out of his office, Tohma offered Ryuichi a silent word of thanks. If it had not been for the initial dare, he would never have gotten to know Shuichi. His life, thanks to that challenge, was getting back to where Tohma wanted it. Damn those who stood in his way.
