actually the Cattleman's i'm talking about is a shitty little sports bar here in nashua. it's across the street from Penuche's, the bar we hang out at all the time. a common phrase you might hear at penuche's would be "hey i'm going next door for jello-shots, want me to bring one back for you?" or "i'm ordering food from next door, is it ok to eat from there this week, has anyone been sick lately?" it's also funny that we all refer to it as "next door", even though it is definately across the street. they have really good roast beef sandwiches though.
i don't know if i've ever heard of that cattleman's actually. sounds vaguely familiar. we don't have that kind of stuff on the east coast anyways. we've got wanna-be steak houses (franchises) and a few privately-owned and operated places that set up camp in old colonial homes. it adds to the new england "charm" i suppose.
