A bit of a flush came across Saguru's cheeks at those words. "That is not the way I intended you to take that statement," he replied with as detached a tone as he could manage when, because of those words, he was hyper-aware of where exactly the other personality's hands were.
Arsène wasn't even looking at him at that moment, and yet, Saguru knew that he knew exactly what the reaction to those words was.
The grin on his face as his hands went back to their search gave that much away.
It gave more than just that game away. Saguru was ready to follow what his instincts were screaming and get himself away from this person who was proving himself to be very much different from what his past actions showed. Or, Saguru came to realize as those hands fell to his hips, this was the exact sort of behavior those past actions revealed. An instinctual behavior; if Arsène wanted something, he took it; if Arsène saw someone in trouble, he saved them; if Arsène felt threatened...
And that certainly didn't fit the situation Saguru was in.
What Arsène wanted...
Saguru's hand left its position in the air and caught hold of the more daring of the two hands, stopping it before it could go any farther. Sharp eyes met his, and it was only then that Saguru actually felt that Arsène was truly reacting to a threat. Which only served to prove...
"Just what is it that you want, Arsène?" asked Saguru pointedly, not backing down even as he saw muscles tense, knowing that trapping the thief in such a way could be dangerous. "If I really were a threat--or I should say, if you believed I was a threat, you would not be playing games with me like this."
For a moment, neither of them moved. Then, a smirk broke across that face. "Why, tantei-san," he said in an innocent manner Saguru didn't believe for a second, "could it be that you, the detective who has to ask the criminal about his motives, are finally taking a stab in the dark on your own?"
Feeling the blow from those words and refusing to let it show, Saguru responded firmly, "But am I wrong? If I were, you would not avoid addressing my accusation."
The expression did not change on Arsène's face except to darken in a cynical kind of humor. "Perhaps," answered the thief after a moment. "Or maybe--"
Saguru had no idea how anybody could be so fast, especially in dealing with a person considerably larger than the other. Still, somehow without warning, the detective found himself on the ground, his tie taken from his neck and used to bind his hands to the bed frame. So quick it was that Saguru could only sit there, stunned, while Arsène stood over him, the grin never leaving his face as he finished, "A threat and a want can cause the same reaction."
A chill ran down Saguru's spine as he pulled against his bonds. "Arsène..." he said lowly, trying to keep the sense of panic from rising. Despite being a different personality, fundamentally the thief was still Kaito, or so he hoped. "You don't have to do this."
The thief blinked at him before giving a bit of a laugh. "Ah, tantei-san," he said when he recovered, "do you really think I would have taken such measures if you'd followed instructions?" Arsène squatted down beside Saguru in order to be more level with him as he continued, "Especially after you came to understand my character so well."
Saguru attempted to argue against this but was stopped short when he saw the other persona produce something from an unknown location. The detective was very nearly horrified to find that he recognized such a small packet. "What are you doing with that?" he asked.
Arsène glanced to the small package. "This?" A grin flashed across his face. "Oh, I just found it on some guy that tried to take a literal stab at me. Don't worry. It hasn't been touched since, but I have it on hand because I expect the person to eventually come for it again."
Understanding dawned and Saguru glared at the thief. "You're recruiting drug addicts," he stated flatly.
A hand was waved airily. "I wouldn't say 'recruiting' or 'drug addict,'" said Arsène lightly before beginning to work on opening the packet. "It's more of a working relationship. He went after my misfits first. If anything, I consider this a punishment worse than turning him in. I have his wallet, his stash, his face, his name, everything. What does he have? The knowledge that I know all of this."
Dark eyes peered intently into Saguru's. "You disapprove?"
The detective averted his eyes, feeling cold sweat on the back of his neck. Things were much more complex than he had thought. Which was the act? Which was the true intention? Or was Saguru right and this personage went through events without plan, only reacting? It was hard to believe that when he plainly saw that calculating look in those eyes...
He pulled at his restraints again. "Stop this, Arsène," he said as firmly as he could. "This is going too far."
Arsène didn't spare him another glance as he pulled a slip from the packet. "Too far?" he asked in a distracted manner. "You're not in any real danger, tantei-san. This 'drug' isn't even a drug as you think it is."
It was the phrasing that tipped Saguru off more than anything else. "You're going to use that--" he began to exclaim but was forced silent as the thief carefully tucked the packet away and swiftly unbuttoned the shirt the blond was wearing. It wasn't necessarily these actions that stopped him short.
It was the fact that Arsène had placed a patch onto his bare skin, just below his right collar bone.
Saguru could only stare in dumbfounded disbelief and shock. "What--" he began to ask, pulling against his bonds once more--
Only to have his eyes go wide as he tried to stifle a moan and fell back against the bed, suddenly feeling hot and covered in sweat as he tried to breathe. It was difficult to do so since the fabric of his clothing suddenly seemed to stimulate every nerve-ending in his body. He felt his face burn hot as another gasp of surprise escaped him, making him try to get away from those sensations--
Except no matter what he did, there came that feeling.
"Interesting," said that voice, low and with that feel to it, right next to Saguru's ear. "So that's what he meant about location, huh? It got into your blood awfully fast."
Not really able to focus his eyes, trying to deal with the assault of his suddenly over-active sense of touch, Saguru managed to get out, "What... is this...?"
"Hm?" asked Arsène, almost as if he'd forgotten that the detective was the subject of his interest at the moment. "Oh, that? Yeah, strong aphrodisiac. The so-called 'druggie'? Was actually a man working to get this stuff in the public market." He must have leaned forward because, without warning, Saguru felt hot breath on his ear and neck that had him shutting his eyes as his body shivered non-stop. "Think of it like sex in a patch."
Saguru could have strangled the thief right there and then if his hands hadn't been tied--
Instead, he was mortified to acutely feel a hand placing itself where it could feel him already straining against his trousers, quickly becoming wetter the longer the hand rested there.
This was truly the worst holiday the detective had even been on.
Even still, Saguru was quickly finding it hard to keep his mind of the thief and what sorts of devious plots he may have constructed. The drug--because even if Arsène had assured him it was nothing of the sort, he still had his doubts--continued to course through his system, making it impossible to keep still. Shaking, panting, everything seemed to drive his body mad with an almost over-bearing pleasure. A pleasure that nearly had his hips bucking except that Saguru refused to give Arsène such an 'interesting' action to study.
The decision, however, was quickly taken out of his metaphoric hands as those quick and nimble hands freed the swollen member from the practically soaked trousers--just before Saguru suddenly came with a cry at slightest touch of skin against skin.
The detective couldn't properly see it as his mind struggled to jump-start itself into working order, but he could hear the grin in the words spoken into his ear once more, "That strong of stuff, huh, tantei-san? And you're still hard, aren't you?"
A feather-light touch against his neck had him sharply inhaling and feeling his erection, held almost too tightly this time by the thief's hand, beginning to become slick with precum once more.
If he'd been able to put more thought into his words, he might have made a more fierce force to be reckoned with. As it was, the foggy haze that only seemed to thicken in Saguru's mind only spared him three words in a breathy whisper, "Stop... don't... touching..."
Arsène chuckled, grinning lips against Saguru's neck as he spoke, "Enjoying it a bit too much?"
"No..." gasped Saguru even as he felt his body betray him by trying to get the hand on him to provide the stimulation needed--wanted.
He shuddered all the more when the thief chose to lick his ear and run a free hand behind his back so that the skin accessible under the half-on, half-off suit could be teased.
