Day/Theme: May 7 // The dream of a common language
Series: Skip Beat!
Character/Pairing: one-sided Ren-->Kyoko
He often wonders when they'll finally start communicating in the same language. So many times, his words are misconstrued by her. So many times, he reads more than he should in hers.
He's learning her meanings little by little, watching her eyes and taking note of body language before taking her statements at face value. Hers is a very special dialect, but he's learnt enough to at least be able to express certain things in a way she'll understand. Too bad it's none of the important things he wants to actually get through to her.
His greatest fear is that when he finally says those words, finally says,
"I like you, Kyoko"
she'll smile and nod and say,
"I like you, too, Tsuruga-sempai"
and all his feelings will be lost in translation
A/N: Did 31_days get rid of all their tags? I just realized that none of the series/fandoms have tags anymore. Are we just sticking to the Memories archive for indexing purposes?
