since linzy threatened poor zizou's meaningless life again, i figured i would update. i admit i often tend to get into the habit of being simply an observer in the livejournal arena instead of an active participant. do you think this is a metaphor for my life??

so my time in nyc so far has been kEwL. the queens apartment consists of sophie acting as den mother, my other roomate sonia standing tall at 4'11, and my hot new silver ikea loft bed shaking just enough every time i get into it to instill the fear of dying into my heart. and i once again have lots more Uke in my life.
school has been good. i like going to school on the upper east side, hunter is reallll diverse, you've got blacks, muslims, muslim blacks, hispanics of many nations, jewss, a surprisingly high blind population, and a heavy dose of adult learners. im looking for a job, so far my only sure prospect is vicky's secret and i would really rather not work there. i have to find something fast tho, my account is dwindling fast and the Bank of Tato is not always so generous.
my fav times tho have been fufilling my role as "transfer student" at my ivy league, Columbia U. molly and i have gotten up to all sorts of drunken trouble and stoned escapes...

i've been watching lots and lots of degrassi online in preparation of the new season, which i guess already started. some highlights include "the curse of degrassi" when rick possesses holly j and the episode when darcy gets raped! also, ally has her own show, "how to be indie," the first episode is on youtube. i loved it, but im such a shankar fan i may be biased...
