Well I suppose I can. It's colder and more refreshing. It's the question, "why is it colder and more refreshing?" that I can't answer.

Interesting. I've never found much of a difference. Is it all bathrooms vs. kitchens or just your current one?

I think this has been consistent with most places I've lived. Maybe it's all the places I've lived in out in Seabeck (read: the sticks) where we have private wells. Not sure what difference that would make, but now that you bring it up, I don't recall it being this way in Seattle.
