The Good

They accepted!! They accepted it all; they took our bid, they will pay $2,000 in closing costs and they will also pick up the tab for our home warranty. As long as everything goes smoothly we close on 30 July. Now we have to set up the home inspection, appraisal and do some other stuff that involves mountains of paperwork. Aaaaaand

I gave my parents the Grit cookbook as a present, and my stepmom made the linguine with wine sauce. She used Gruyere cheese instead of Gouda, and it was the best damn plate of pasta I have ever had. I think you can switch up the cheeses in that recipe, and the pasta too. It would be awesome with penne.

Hey, at least someone else gets just as excited over pasta! I was babbling for a while about the great recipe to my friend. She was like "Great....yeah.."

*shrug* I just really really like pasta? I'll have to try it with gruyere too...i love that cheese.
