I'm checking in to wish you good luck. You haven't failed - you've just hit a few bumps in the road. Learning a new skill or replacing a bad habit with a good one is never easy and I admire you for trying. I'll be here cheering you on. This format seems much more achievable than what you've tried before.

Hugs and good luck,

Kae

Thank you, Kae, for responding. It is so nice to know that I have your support, as I go through this. It will be hard. But, I think that knowing this will make it much more doable.

Thank you so much. The project will not actually begin until July 1, when I go and get my first monthly allowance. But, I felt that starting the blog a few days in advance could prove to be beneficial. I am going to spend these days preparing for the year to come, and plan to write about the preparations, for such a project.
It is amazing to know that you are still going to follow me. That means the world to me.

hey mike. it's oliver. i wanted to post my well-wishes here. i'm definitely going to follow your progress and draw inspiration from it, to help me curb my own poor financial choices. i look forward to hearing your voice in my head when i'm faced with a great deal on a new pair of shoes, telling me that i don't need it and that i'll be happier if i make the choice not to buy them. go, mike, go!
