Or so it seems to me. There's also that "gleam of triumph" in Dumbledore's eye when Harry tells him Voldemort used his blood to be revived. Rowling said that was incredibly significant in an interview. She also said 2 important characters die that she didn't intend to kill off earlier in the series... but does he stay dead? I don't think so. I don't think any of the main three actually straight up die. But from Neville on, I think it's fair game.
