James having a wife was always one of those things for me in writing RPF for them that's not AU...she can't just be ignored. And for as much as I love the idea of them together, if they were, there would be consequences.
Also, super glad James fingering Michael was hot; I was a bit concerned it would be more of a turn off, but as you noticed, ti was really about the power dynamic between them, they both have to work to be the one in charge of any given interaction.
<3 is all i can say. <3. I love the tone of this one and how it's like *waves hands helplessly* I've got no words for this but it's so wonderful and they both want it and you need to write more (:
Oh but this hurt so good. I love well written angst and this is exactly what this is. I loved the way you handled James's wife and that you made it so that she left him instead of the other way around because James completely deserved to be dumped, no matter how much I like him, I enjoyed the realism of that. I also love their cat and mouse game even though they knew exactly how it was going to end. Sometimes it's too much to resist even knowing it's going to hurt.
You also hit a couple of my kinks as well, powerplay and humiliation, yes please.
This was lovely all around and for sure I'm going to be reading it again :D
I'm glad you liked the realism, the angst in the story. One of the things I really like about this pairing is that both of them are strong men, and any dominance would really be fought for, so I'm glad that part came through in the story. I do think for them it was too much to resist, but they just had to do it, had to go there, to experience it and in the end, hope it was worth it.

Thanks again dear - for restoring my brain but most of all for wrecking it! It's magnetically,amazingly (almost on the verge of disturbingly) HOT O_O Anything you do is always worth waiting for!!
I also like how you described it magnetically, amazing (almost on the verge of disturbingly) HOT because it's an amazing compliment, and because it's a pretty damn accurate account of what I was going for with the story. The first bit of this story that came to me was just a guy shoving another guy up against the wall (like the first scene) and it just sort of exploded (maybe a slight pun intended there, lol) from there.
