E-excuse me... but... where can somepony get a job...? Something to make money...? Back home, it was my job to take care of the animals, but

You can work at the Pokemon Center or the Pokemon Market.

There's a lot of other jobs around different cities too, but those two are pretty basic and easy to do.

[And then she notices the puffy eyes]

There are a number of jobs available in any city. You could help out in a Pokémon Center - help treating the pokémon.

[That's probably as close as you'll get to the thing you did back home. Anyway, time for concern.]

[ After...pretty much sleeping off an illness for the past few days, Machi had finally gone out to make sure that her Pokémon-thing was okay...and then she'd run into this scene. After she debates what to do for a short while, have her walking over slightly, looking very unsure.

So quietly that the pony may not hear it over her crying: ] What's....wrong?

[But she does hear! Startled, she stares at Machi, clutching Celest close. But Celest is happy to see you, and waves, giving a happy chirp of 'Priii, Priii!' And since Celest is fine with you, Fluttershy will reply.]

I... I... I need a... job.

[ Machi is...seemingly startled by Celest, but at least it doesn't look like this Pokémon will attack. Hesitant wave in the Togepi's direction. ]

A...job? [ She knows nothing about jobs, so she takes a minute or four to think. ] Maybe ask if....someplace is hiring?
