Aeryn sat watching the CCTV tape from the Llandudno shop. She’d been watching for a while now, and there was no sign of the brutal stabbing that was supposed to have happened just outside. Finally, after what seemed like hours, something happened. At first, Aeryn just watched, glad that her job wasn’t as close to the action as those of the other CSIs. But then, as she watched the attacker plunge the knife into the victim’s stomach, dragging out his insides, even the sight in black and white made her stomach twist. She made it over to her bin before she threw up.
Looking up, she saw Ruby Lewis standing in her doorway.
“Dylan just sent me down to see if you found…oh,” Ruby said, walking over to Aeryn and helping her up. “I guess you did find something then.”
