Wow, LJ! Long time no see! Can I even remember how to do this?

Watched new SGU and Sanctuary last night, but it was early morning here, and I was a bit drunk, so not sure how much of it I actually remember... Since nobody I see in RL really watches them, I'm going to babble about them here. I miss having

I scrolled down without even looking because we have SGU and the latest ep of Sanctuary but it's 0110 here and we just watched the latest Heroes AND the final three eps of Doctor Who s2 (because my friend Mogg is catching up on all the Doctor seasons she missed), so we probably won't get to watch them until tomorrow night. At which point I'll be back to discuss :D

'k, have just watched the latest SGU and Sanctuary. You've done some excellent wrapping-up and bits of analysis there, though I don't agree with all of it...two of my fave Sanctuary eps so far (this latest being one of them) were basically the Helen and Will Show (remember the crashed plane?), because the intensity of the acting in both is so many notches higher then the usual. Look, I love love love Henry (and want to have his puppies!) AND the Big Guy AND the marvellous Mr Druitt (and I soooo hope Ashley isn't really dead, as I've said before, because even though Ullerup can't act to save her Hot Babe Arse, she's one fine piece of Hot Babe Arse so who cares), but this episode was so sharp and hard and tight that I didn't begrudge their absence at ALL ( ... )

I'm not saying that the just Helen and Will episodes aren't amazing - Requiem and Kush were brilliant - I'm just in a bit of a Henry fangirl stage, and missed having something of him to squee over!
Will/Kate I think mostly surprised me because they haven't had all that much interaction so far, but I guess after several years, they would have!
Liking apocalapsae!

Eli is definately my favourite part of SGU so far. I think, because I read a lot of the behind the scenes stuff, I'm quite liking the others because of all the stuff I'm hearing from that, rather than what I'm actually seeing.

And yes, death to American English! Except their pronunciation of 'lieutenant', which I actually think is better, but that's probably because I first knew the word from Trek!

With you on the Henry love - I think I've made that obvious by now :P (Actually, it's funny how the scruffy little geeky blokes tend to ring my bell. Henry...Wash from Firefly...Seamus Harper from Andromeda...Oz from BtVS...I suppose even Michael Hurst as Iolaus in Hercules: tLG counts, though not so much on the geek front! Hmm, maybe the real reason that Wesley Crusher fails to make that list is that he wasn't scruffy!)

Will/Kate: future Will had had to harden up a LOT. Present-day Kate was softening. Maybe they met in the middle :D

because I read a lot of the behind the scenes stuffI'm probably your opposite number. Not only am I not part of any fandoms as such - L knows all about that! - but I (usually) hate spoilage and rarely even bother to find out new-to-me actors' names until after I've seen some of the shows in question. I'm the one who (usually) leaves the room when someone wants to watch DVD cast interviews or a director's voiceover. I'm the one who throws stuff at my DB if he doesn't press the stop button when the next ( ... )

Yay for scruffy little geeky blokes - totally with you on that one!
Tapping's accent is good. I've not seen True Blood though.

Yes, the stones are from SG1. First the stones connected Jack to the guy who plays Homer Simpson, then in s9 they found a device that went with them that sent Daniel and Vala to another galaxy, kicking off the Ori thing. Apparently they work better now though, since with Daniel and Vala, it was just a one way thing, and their bodies were basically comatose the whole time.
