I personally hope that people are not as big of lemmings as tv exec believe and realize that this show is nothing and begin to boycott all future "reality" tv

Well, understandable. I can't help it. I liked Tommy Lee when he played drums in a sweaty speedo!! I'll admit I watched Vince Neill get a makeover. I've watched Jani Lane on Celebrity Fit Club. Give me a washed up late 80's/early 90's rocker doing something embarrassing and I'll watch it.

So I guess we just pretend to forget that he's a wife-beater? Jesus, tv is like 1984. We just rewrite the past and gloss over stuff and just eat it up. Sad really. TV has effectively removed any kind of memory that we have. Any type of "bad thing" that a celebrity has done can be erased with lots and lots of marketing. Marketing to remind you how "cool" this person is and how you'd be crazy not to love them and care about what they do.

Thinking just makes things more difficult. Maybe I should just sedate myself and settle in for a reality marathon and just let the mind go.
