Yesterday, July 11th, at 3:20pm, we welcomed Greyson into our world. Both Gretchen and Grey are doing well, Gretchen having labored at home for 7cm while I was at work delivering other people's babies. There was some jacuzzi, but no epidural, and she pushed like a champ for 20 minutes. All told, contractions started around 11pm, got really bad ( Read more... )

*tipping hat* Jake here, saw you on transparents, and wanted to say the following: firstly, congrats, I hope you're merrily up to your neck in nappies and expressed milk as I type this! Secondly, I'm a tranny nurse as well, funny world that! I work with kids. Thirdly, I think you went to my wife's high school! I think she graduated a year before you! Anyhow, I know you're probably busy as hell with the brand new rugrat, so I'll look forward to hearing from you and cut it off here. Hope this finds all 3 of you well! -Jake
