So, the scholarship dinner went over without a hitch. I gave my speech and didn't stutter or say "um" a lot or anything like that. It would have been really embarrassing, too, 'cause my speech teacher was there ( Read more... )

Yep! I knew you'd want it so I made sure it didn't get squished or crumpled. After all, we put hours of work and thousands of calories into this masterpiece , right?

You can pick out some extra flowers when we go to the store.

Of course we'll finish it, Hime. I heard once that it's good for the soul to finish what you start. So after we go to Home Depot we can stop by the grocery store to get lots of candy. For the sake of Carey Grant.

And what would you use the barbed wire for?

While I can't help much in the way of flowers, I realize now that there are a few things that I could pick up from Home Depot myself.

You're more than welcome to come if you don't mind being slightly cramped. I have an old pickup truck, so room in the cab is a little tight, but there's plenty of space to cary stuff in the bed.
