Magic All Over the World (no, not Obama-fever)

I am almost stupefied. Thanks to a link sent to me from tchwrtr and a firm resolve that she does NOT wish to post this in her own journal, I share with you an amazing video. Clearly it's some sort of Japanese "Candid Camera" type stunt, but... oh -- just watch it and make sure you stick it all the way through to the end.

That was so funny and just what I needed today! I love the Japanese!

Wow! Impressively flexible and strong-legged person with an evil sense of humor.

Thanks for sharing! (and yes, I'm still giggling at the reaction at the end... neat framework there, I'm even more impressed at the speed and flexibility of the guy after seeing the back of the second part's coat)

Nope. Or rather, not enough.

I can't see how, but there's some sort of extra anchoring going on there; once his center of gravity (located roughly at the belt buckle on humans) gets past his toes, it is impossible for him not to fall over unless there's something holding his heel down, or some other means of support.

And he's going waaaay past that point. He does catch himself on door handles in some bits, but in some of them, he goes over past the point of no return, and then comes back up without obvious external support, so there's something hidden.

Sorry about passing this through here... but whoever it was who responded to me before... I know that part - it's been given away on TV before. But I still never tell - if it can't be seen, it can't be seen. It's up to the individual doing it to either give it away either on purpose or because they're so lousy that it shows to the observant... and in this case, that portion of the film is done so well that there is no external sign of the how.... beyond his flexibility allowing him to do that portion.
