I don't think it's right that 'doctors' take so much pride in calling themselves 'Doctor' and are so insulted when other people don't. Maybe I should be so vain and insist that other people acknowledge my achievements.

From now on, woe be unto anyone who calls me simply 'Mister Gulati' - now it is 'Bachelor Gulati!'That has a more entertaining

Definitely the degree; the marital status doesn't become an accomplishment unless someone has been actively trying to marry me or make me get married for a couple of years at least.
