Our 17+ year old cat was euthanized last night.  It was such a tough decision.  She didn't seem to be in pain or suffering, but it was so hard to watch her health fail.  She had lost weight and muscle mass to the point of being only 4 pounds, she was drinking way too much water (a sign of kidney failure and/or diabetes) and missing the litter box (
