Awful day. Not even kidding - this had to be one of the worst days of my life. It all centered around a family drama, which I was impulsive enough to get involved in. Susan! I'm sorry today was so awful. You are a wonderful person, and you shouldn't beat yourself up. You're extraordinarily mature, honest, and loving, and don't let anyone say otherwise, especially if they are your blood relative.

Your uncle sounds like a giant TOOL and overgrown 15 year old.

Let me just say this: I am so proud of you. Although I don't know the nature of the argument, clearly something needed to be said to this uncle of yours. And YOU said it. The Susan I knew even two years ago would have just been really passive aggressive about it. YOU ARE MAKING STRIDES! I love you.

Can you tell I've been around enough overgrown 15 years olds to make me mad when someone else has to deal with them?
