Cackling with glee, the villain taunted his captor ‘So, Doctor! Finally we shall peer into your soul!’ Barely tuning his head he called to an attendant ‘Bring it in!’

Burly guards brought in a rather tatty looking item and, firmly holding the Doctor, placed it on his head.

Silence.

A wizened voice spoke, ancient, as though it were dealing with the ( Read more... )

I definitely think the Seventh and Eleventh Doctors would be Slytherin. Not so sure about the others.

10 is Gryffindor. 2 is either Slytherin or Hufflepuff depending on which version of him you're looking at.

You’ll be glad (or upset, or - most likely - quite disturbed) to know that I actually went through and wrote down what I thought each one would be - here is my list:

1 Slytherin (but hard to tell)
2 Hufflepuff or Slytherin
3 Ravenclaw or Griffindor
4 Hufflepuff or Griffindor
5 Griffindor
6 Slytherin or just really badly written
7 Slytherin
8 Griffindor (but hard to tell)
9 Ravenclaw or Slytherin
10 Ravenclaw or Griffindor
11 Slytherin

If we look at first places only, then this gives us 4 Slytherins, 2 Hufflepuffs, 3 Ravenclaws & 2 Griffindors.

Alternatively, if we include the second options as well as full values then we get: 6 Slytherins, 2 Hufflepuffs, 3 Ravenclaws & 5 Griffindors.

Then again, (as I don’t think that he’s Griffindor material) if we include the second places as only half values, then we get: 5 Slytherins, 2 Hufflepuffs, 3 Ravenclaws & 3.5 Griffindors.

In every count, I end up with Slytherin being the most likely outcome, so I stand by the hats decision!.

:o)
