you should read Galapagos by kurt vonnegut. the big thinking brains killed the world.

my sister lives on the Galapagos islands. I'm visiting her in august.

whats the book about?

it's about the end of the world, save for a handful of people who find refuge on the Galapagos Islands. the story is told from the viewpoint of a man who died shortly before the world ended, but knows how the world turned out millions of years later. It's hard to explain, but it's a great book. vonnegut is amazing. the reason I brought it up is because he talks a lot about how our big brains lead us to too much thinking which lead us to our end. I read cat's cradle by vonnegut a few months ago, which is also about the end of the world. He's very humorous. I guess people either love him or hate him. anyway, one day check him out.
