ASWS there wasn't much hope for whiskey from Tennessee to begin with.

Oh, erm, and along more helpful lines: liquid Benadryl (thinking the children's elixir, not the roll-on-a-rash kind) swabbed onto the gumline should help a toothache that's not from significant dental pathology.

It's especially good at night as, yes, one will inevitably swallow some and...zzzzzzzz. Sometimes I/we suggest mixing it between 1:1 or 2:1 with Maalox or Mylanta as it adheres to the area better that way and one can use more without ODing.

Fortunately it's now a balmy 19 degrees here, so I'm no longer in excruciating pain. Thanks for the advice, though. I'm sure I'll have the opportunity to try it out sooner or later.
