Sad Day

So today I took my cat, Katie, to the vet for what I assumed would be a follow up from her visit in January, when she was borderline hyperthyroidism with a blockage in her colon. Well the blockage passed the day after the visit so life was good for a while. Lately, she's started losing more weight and having a couple of other problems. I figured I' ( Read more... )

She's so beautiful. My cat also died of cancer (brain, in his case). I'm glad I was able to cheer you up a bit. That fic was also therapeutic for me.

Yeah, like a punch in the gut. I started bawling and the vet and vet tech both gave me hugs. I'm comforted by the fact I didn't have to put her down today, but knowing it's on the horizon sooner rather than later is very hard for me to come to terms with. I think I'm still in the denial stage.

My two guinea pigs also died of cancer :( It's terrible thing.
