Took a line drive to the face at softball last night. Had to get stitches in my chin and then a cat scan revealed I'd shattered my mandible. In hospital awaiting syrgery to repair and I've been told they will wire my jaw shut fOr 4 to 6 weeks. Never had surgery hefore so I'm fairly nervous. Trying to keep my sense of humor in tact, so I've thought

Ouch. OUCH. Had I written that post, it would be boldface, all caps, and include a liberal amount of blasphemies (I'm the kind of person who goes eeek at having blood drawn).
My thoughts are with you. May the demerol and morphine flow abundant.

Oh yikes! I knew there was a reason I hated softball at school....Sorry to hear about your accident, I hope everything goes well for you.

There was a fic about House having his jaw wired shut but I don't think I've seen one for Wilson - at least you will be add a lot of realism to it if you write it :)
