"It was very nice," Haruhi said, automatically standing as she began to clear the table--she rarely trusted her father to do the task, as he was...excitable, and while she trusted the twins (she was probably one of the only people in the world who could say that) it was simply habit to do so.
When all the dishes were in the sink, however, she couldn't quite bring herself to wash them at just that moment...
So she trailed back and sat at the table, folding her knees neatly underneath her. "I have to study tonight," She reminded the twins, though she really didn't expect that to have much effect. She just had to say it.
"We can help you study," Kaoru offered warmly, leaning back quite comfortably in his seat much the way Hikaru was. He would've helped collect the dishes, but Haruhi had moved far too fast.
"Or we could watch a movie." Cuddling up in Haruhi's tiny living room actually sounded quite appealing right then, and Kaoru had a feeling (or at least he hoped) that Haruhi was feeling just as happily satisfied after the meal as they were and wouldn't mind relaxing a bit.
"We do have all the same classes as you," Hikaru replied in an off-hand manner, looking down at one of his hands. Guess Haruhi answered his question about the dishes...
He perked up at the suggestion of a movie. "That does sound nice..." he said more to himself. It was getting colder outside... and who wanted to study if it was getting cold?
"Um..." Haruhi was rather startled that they'd actually offered to help her study--until she considered that the twins probably would make the whole process of studying much harder.
And she was really a little too tired to bother just this moment--and really, it wouldn't be too bad to just do it in the morning--
They were having a bad influence on her.
"As long as it's not a weird movie." Haruhi agreed, deciding to worry about the bad influence bit later, when she was more awake and ready to be paranoid.
