Honey's large, child-wide eyes roamed around the room, searching for his cousin. He had seen Mori outside the club room earlier, talking (well, taking as much as he ever did) with Neko-chan and a girl that Honey did not recognise, and now he ( Read more... )

Ellen looked at the young boy in amazement. He was a host?! He looked like a young kid. But...he was cute, she had to give him that. He had nice, large eyes, and an adorable voice to boot. The boy reminded her vaguely of her stuffed animals at home, with their own set of large, cute eyes. She could just feel the temptation to hug him rising up from within her, possibly escaping into a fangirlish squeal. Must. escaping. Temptation. To. Hug.

Ellen kneeled before him and smiled. She looked into his eyes, determined not to hug the adorableness before her.

Her resolve broke down within an instant.

Gently, Ellen hugged the boy, a large, blissful grin on her face. She wanted to squeeze him, but thankfully, not all of her cold, hard self control had disappeared in la la land. "You are so cute! And yes, I'd really like some cake! But, you have to promise to eat some with me, okay?"

Honey made a soft, surprised noise when Ellen hugged him; he didn't mind the girls hugging him -- they did so often -- but he had never seen Ellen before and she hadn't seemed like the hugging type when she had been outside talking to Nekozawa and Takashi. Returning the hug, Honey smiled, sun-bright, up at Ellen.

"Okay!" he agreed with her request readily, nodding happily. He didn't mind eating cake with his clients; the more, the better. Tugging at her hand, he gestured to the couch, waiting for the girl to take a seat. "What type of cake would you like? Takashi?" Honey looked expectantly at both his cousin and the girl. "My name is Honey; what is your name?"

Mori held the door open for Carabin-san as they walked into the music room. He was glad - he wasn't a very conversational person, and certainly Carabin-san would be less inclined to talk to him and ask questions now. With a nod to Nekozawa-kun, Mori turned into the door and smiled at Mitsukuni's cheery grin.

Honestly, he wasn't surprised when Ellen hugged Mitsukuni. It wasn't something most girls could resist, even if they didn't seem like most girls. And Mitsukuni enjoyed the attention.

Sitting down, Mori poured tea for everyone."No thank you. Mitsukuni," he said softly.

Ellen happily took a seat, the warm leftover gushyness of the hug still effecting her mind. It was very rare for her to have so much warm joy in her stomach, so she was going to milk every moment with what it was worth. Ellen relaxed, her normal rigid posture melting away, something she normally reserved for her acting. Both her eyes and her face were smiling at the same time, and for now, she was intoxicated by bliss.

"I would like to try..." She hesitated for a moment, thinking, "strawberry. I never had strawberry before." Her eyes glanced over to the cakes for a moment, but they immediately returned to Hunny. "Oh, and my name is Ellen Carabin. My middle name is Audrey. It's nice to meet you, Honey-senpai."

Well, there was 2/3 a chance that he was older than her. Ellen could merely hope he was, even though he didn't look like it.

Honey smiled brightly at Ellen. "Welcome to the host club Ellen-san," he said, serving the girl some of the strawberry-laden cake. "Strawberry is my favourite! Except maybe for chocolate." The petit senior looked thoughtful for a moment before shrugging and serving himself a piece of the cake as well. His smile softened into something more familiar and fond as he glanced at Mori, watching his cousin pour them all tea. He placed a plate with some cookies in front of Mori, just in case he wanted something sweet later

"What brings you here this afternoon?" Honey asked Ellen as he took a seat next to her, one leg swinging gently, the tip of his shoe barely brushing the floor.

"Well, I'm from America, and they don't have any Host Clubs there. I heard from some girls in the hallways about this one, so I wanted to see what it was like for myself. It seems really nice so far." Ellen smiled down at Honey, the feelings of gushyness reinforcing themselves.

Ellen looked down at her slice of cake, sliding her fork into the sugary goodness and plopping it into her mouth. She let the bit of cake rest on her taste buds for a moment, her mind slowly deciding on whether she liked it or not. After gulping it down, Ellen smiled, "It's good. But I still think I like chocolate better."

It was then Ellen realized she still had Nekozawa's little cat in her one of hands, and she glanced around, wondering where to put it. She turned to Honey, "Oh, Honey-senpai, do you know where I can put the cat without it getting in the way of anything? It's from Nekozawa, and I want to keep it."

"I've been to America before!" Honey chirped, happily starting to devour his own piece of cake. "We're all very nice here." Well, maybe the Twins and Kyouya weren't really 'nice,' but that was besides the point.

"You can have chocolate cake, too, then!" Honey was always willing to share his cake with anyone. He looked at the little cat in her hands, eyes going a bit wide. She had a cat from Neko-chan? Stranger things had happened, he supposed, especially around the Host Club. It would be good for Neko-chan to have friends.

"You can put it on the couch next to you, or on the table."

Ellen turned and gently put the little cat on the table, making sure that it wouldn't make a loud noise when it touched the surface. She smiled softly at the adorableness of it, before her smile turned into a smirk. Nekozawa really didn't know what he was getting himself into. But it will be interesting to see what he has up his sleeves ( ... )

Honey looked sad for a moment, when Ellen mentioned having to move even if she hadn't wanted to. "I hope you'll like it here. There is lots to do!" He brightened a bit as he thought of all the fun Ellen could have in Japan. The Host Club would be a good place for her to make friends; most of the other girls were good people and would enjoy showing Ellen around.

"You like stuffed animals, too?" At that his smile turned sunny again, as he produced Usa-chan. "This is Usa-chan. He likes chocolate cake best, too!" He held the stuffed rabbit out to Ellen, offering to let her hold it, much like he had to Haruhi the first time they had met. "I'm sure the cat Neko-chan gave you will like it in your room."

Ellen gingerly reached out and took the stuffed animal, smiling at the softness of it. It was cute, and Usa-chan seemed to be very importent to Hunny-senpai if he carried it around everywhere. Was it made by someone special to him, or did he simply just go out and buy it? "I'm sure it will. I'll try and place it by the other cats in a safe spot so it won't be lonely."

She began to fondle Usa-chan, remembering her own stuffed bunny her mother made for her when she was little. Ellen no longer had it now, since it was lost so many years ago. "Did someone very special make Usa-chan for you? Because whoever did, did an excellent job. It's very cute."

Ellen smiled very softly, still stuck in a small pool of memories.

Honey smiled and nodded, quickly finishing off his piece of cake.

"My grandmother made him for me. I've had him since I was little; we always eat cake together." Swinging his legs, he looked thoughtful for a moment. "Do you have a favourite stuffed toy, Ellen-chan?" To him, talking about Usa-chan and other cute things was about as nice of a conversation he could have with one of the girls. Honey had decided he enjoyed talking to Ellen a lot.

"You should bring one of your stuffed animals to play with Usa-chan!"
